Turn Your Home Into a Tapas Bar (Part 2)
For the final phase of our Canary Island promotion, we've partnered with Shamez and his team at La Palette on Queen Street West, in Toronto. La Palette was one of the first GTA "bottle shops" (aka restaurants featuring wine with takeout), and perhaps the one with the most inspired and eclectic selections in the city.
Shamez tasted the new Bodegas Tajianste wines with Nupur and decided to carry them all. The Tinto Tradicional and Blanco Seco have been on the list at La Palette for many years, so it's good to see the Canarius line - Blanco and Tinto - the new Paisaje de Las Islas Forastera and the amazing CAN join them.
Not only is this the first time in Ontario where they are all available in one spot, it's more than likely the first time in North America. It's also one of the only places in Toronto where you can get the fully-sparkling, 2018 Brut Reserva - we don't even have any left to sell!
These bottles are available to purchase individually at La Palette, or in mix-and-match totes. Shamez, David, or Alex will be happy to make recommendations, and let you know about the cheese and charcuterie that is available to purchase with your wine choices. Take them home for a safe at-home picnic, or to enjoy on the patio if the weather finally cooperates.
Add some pâté or dessert - you have to ask for the Benedictine chocolate mousse - prepared by Maria. There's always something interesting on the go, just ask.
It may not be your "typical" tapas, but we know you won't be disappointed.
