Case of 6 bottles.
Made from 100% Trepat grapes, grown in Spain's Penedès region, at the Ubac estate in Sant Joan de Mediona at an altitude of 500 metres amsl. Harvest was in early October.
Only a few hours (~8) skin contact to extract colour, then temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with yeasts present on the grapes. Second fermentation took place in the bottle with a minimum of 24 months aging on the lees. Bottles are disgorged individually, and only when required for market to ensure optimum condition of the finished wine. Dry (Brut) with 7.0g/L residual sugar. Alc./vol. 11.5%. 32,650 bottles produced.
Tasting Note:Attractive cherry-pink colour, with slight purple tinges. Fine and persistent bubbles that evolve slowly in the glass. Aromas and flavours of wild fruits - strawberry/raspberry - with slight minty notes. Balanced and rich, with good structure and a lively and elegant finish.
Pairing suggestions: Perfect appetizer wine, or with seafood, risotto, charcuterie, and fruity desserts.
