No. You may reside outside of the Province of Ontario, but orders may only be delivered to an address in Ontario.
We get asked this a lot, and unfortunately the answer is no. The rules of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) state that wine can only be sold by the full case. The prices shown on this Web site are for case quantities, and the number of bottles per case is shown above the description of the wine.
Some of our wines are available at bottle shops in the GTA, Hamilton, and London, and they are allowed to sell single bottles. We can direct you to them if you send us an email.
Yes, we are able to offer "mixed cases" and the are featured on our site. But we have to create the "mixed case" first, then offer it up to customers, so it's not as simple as picking 12 different wines.
We post new offers all the time, or you can contact us by email for more information. If you have a suggestion, we'd love to hear from you.
Mixed cases cannot be transferred to LCBO stores, so extra delivery charges may apply outside our current catchment area. Please check with us first before placing an order.
According to LCBO rules, licensee accounts cannot participate in the mixed case program.
Delivery fees are between $10-15 per case, for the locations we currently serve. If you receive a notice at checkout indicating you are in an area not currently served, please contact us directly to discuss options. You can always request we send your order to an LCBO store; this service is available at no additional charge. But not for mixed cases.
It depends on where you are. In the current delivery area, it usually takes 2-3 business days. Transfers to LCBO stores can take 2 - 3 weeks.
No. Someone of legal drinking age must be home to accept delivery and sign for the wine. We can deliver to your office, or to an alternate address - just let us know what works best for you.
We always aim to make sure customers are pleased with their wine orders, but if you need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process. Some charges may apply, e.g. LCBO re-stocking fees.
If a bottle is defective, we will need it back so that we can return it to the LCBO for credit. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process. We will provide a replacement for any defective bottle.
No, only the LCBO operates retail stores in the Province of Ontario. Wineries also have stores, but only to sell their products. Wine and Beer is also available at approved supermarkets but that wine comes also from the LCBO. Restaurants can offer wine with take-out, and bottle shops are appearing to also sell directly to the public.
The wine listed on this Web site, also comes through the LCBO, but through the Specialty Services Consignment Warehouse which is not open to the public.
We fortunately work with a number of great restaurants and bottle shops, and we’d be happy to point you in the direction of one that carries the wine you are interested in. We often do tasting events, and if you are interested in attending one, sign up for our Newsletter.
