The Latido de Sara wines are made in the oldest winery in Navarra Province - San Martin de Unx - who also happen to have some of the best and oldest Garnacha grapes in the area. The overall philosophy of the range - white, rosé, and red - is to produce intensely flavoured and complex wines which faithfully reflect the nature and terroir of the regions they work in.

Wine #1 White Grenache 2022

This dry white is made from 100% white Grenache grapes, grown on hillside slopes in Navarra Province at an altitude of about 650 metres. Follows a traditional white wine production - the wine is fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Alc./vol.: 13.0%.

Tasting note: Bright, straw yellow colour with green tinges. Aromas and flavours of fresh citrus and pear with slight herbal notes. Medium-bodied, dry, fresh and crisp, with a good balance between the fruit and the acidity. Nice lingering finish.

Pairings: White meats, fish and seafood, vegetarian dishes, sushi, and spicy dishes. An easy-drinking wine to enjoy in the kitchen, while you are preparing these dishes, or waiting for the food-delivery person to arrive.  

Wine #2 Garnacha Rosé 2022

This a serious dry rosé, made from 100% Garnacha (Grenache) grapes, from 30+ year old vines. Only a few hours skin contact to extract colour and flavour, then the juice is pressed off to begin fermentation in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks. Alc./vol.: 13.5%. 

Tasting note: Bright rose pink colour. Aromas and flavours of fresh red fruits - cherry, strawberry, and raspberry - with floral notes. Medium-bodied, dry, well balanced, dry, with good acidity and a long, finish.

Pairings: Enjoy while preparing the meal, and will pair with charcuterie, pizza, and appetizers. Also great with white meats (think turkey with all the trimmings), pasta and rice dishes, and seafood. And if you are snowed in at all this season, consider it a great accompaniment for catching up with your favourite Apple+ series. 

Wine# 3 Wild Garnacha 2022

This dry, fruity, red is made from 100% Garnacha (Grenache) grapes, from 35-40 year old vines. Following a traditional red wine production, the wine is aged for 4 months in American and Navarra oak barrels (5%). Alc./vol.: 13.9%. R.S. 6.7 gr./L.

Tasting note: Bright burgundy red colour, with ruby hues. Aromas and flavours of ripe, sweet fruits - cherry, strawberry, and raspberry - with sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, and balsamic/spices. Medium-bodied, dry, well balanced, with a long, finish.

Pairings: An easy drinking red to enjoy on its own, and due to its versatility can easily become your own personal "house" wine. Pair with charcuterie, grilled meat dishes, earthy vegetarian dishes. It's great for enjoying around the barbecue with spicy/smoky sauces - grilling in the winter is a "thing", you know.
