Case of 6 bottles.

Made from 100% Carignan grapes (from 80-100 year old vines), hand-picked from a single plot - "Les Tosses" - of low-yield vines on mountain slopes. The soil is mainly granite based with shards of quartz.

The grapes macerate for 15-20 days, then fermentation is in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for 17 months in new French-oak barrique (225L). The wine remains in bottle until release. Alc./vol. 14.5%

Tasting note: Deep/opaque purple colour with slight ruby tinges. Complex aromas and flavours of red and black fruits - blackberry, plum, and wild berry - with notes of caramel, fig, cinnamon spice, and liquorice. Intense, balanced, good acidity, sweet, ripe tannins, and long elegant, mineral-driven finish.

Pairings: Grilled and braised meats - beef and lamb - earthy vegetarian dishes, and spicy Moroccan dishes.
