100% Garnacha Blanca; the grapes are hand-harvested from the Andaverde vineyard, with predominantly clay soils. The vineyard is located near the Ebro River, and have an average age of 20+ years. A cryo-maceration is carried out in stainless steels tanks, then after alcoholic fermentation is finished, half the wine is aged, on the lees, in a egg-shaped concrete vat, while the rest is aged, also on the lees, in new 600 litre French barrels. Alc./vol.: 13.5%.
Tasting note: Bright straw colour. Aromas and flavours of stone fruits - peach and nectarine - with floral notes of grapefruit citrus, herbs, and vanilla spice. Medium-bodied, dry, balanced acidity, some mineral notes, with a long, finish.
Pairings:Seafood, fresh- and salt-water fish, vegetarian dishes, rice dishes, tapas, and white meats (chicken and pork). Good match with rich and strong flavours.
