Alc./vol. 14.5%. RS < 1gr/L.
Vintage note: 2012 was rated a “5 Star” vintage by the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino, meaning the conditions were “excellent” for the production of Brunello.
Our Tasting Note: Intense deep ruby red colour, this wine is one of the best expressions of the wines of this classic vintage and the region. It has complex, earthy aromas of dark cherry, plum, and wild blackberry fruit with slight cedar/sandalwood/spicy notes. Richly elegant, this wine is medium- to full-bodied, and well-structured on the palate. Rounded, even silky, on the finish; the fruit, acidity, and fine tannins are all well balanced.
