Made from 90% Listán blanco and 10% Albillo criollo grapes, hand-picked from hillside vineyards at a height of 600 metres above sea level. All of the vines are grown using the traditional Cordón Múltiple Trenzado (multiple braided cordon) method.
Traditional white-wine vinification, at cooler temperatures to preserve freshness, with 85% in stainless steel tanks and 15% in new barrique - French and American oak. No malolactic fermentation. Approximately 20% of wine is aged in French and American oak barrique, for two months, while the rest remained in stainless steel tanks until bottling. Alc./vol. 12.5%
Our Tasting Note: Pale straw/yellow, with greenish tinges. Floral/tropical aromas and flavours of pineapple and warm apple, with mineral/earthy notes of baking spices, fennel, and wet stones. Well balanced, dry, with fresh acidity and a long, smooth finish.
Pairing: Great with grilled seafood, shellfish, rice dishes and earthier-style vegetarian dishes. But also just a great wine to enjoy on its own with a few snacks.
