Opened in 2010, Parts & Labour has quickly become the new cultural hub of trendy Parkdale. The Castor-designed space is rich and spacious with well-worn hardwood and recycled lights and features large communal tables as well as more intimate Chef's tables. Downstairs is The Shop; showcasing the hottest independent music scene in TO.

The inspired food menu changes throughout the year to correspond to the seasons, available ingredients, and the personal tastes of Head Chef Matty Matheson and his Sous Matthew DeMille. Chef Matheson grows some of his own ingredients on the rooftop garden.

Menu pricing is great and there are many options available, including vegetarian dishes. There is also a 3-course Prix Fixe menu available, and Brunch is served on Sunday.

The wine list is tight but evolving, and pricing is excellent. There is a good selection of wines available by the glass.

The restaurant is located on Queen Street West, about half way between Lansdownw and Roncenvalles Avenue. It is open for dinner only (6-2pm), Tuesday to Saturday, and for Brunch on Sunday (11am-3pm).
