From the team that brought Toronto Brassaii and Jacobs & Co. (Gus Giazitidis and Peter Tsebelis), Buca is built around the exisiting elements of a heritage building, creating a large main dining room with high ceilings, exposed brick, and iron beams. At the back of the dining room there is a smaller wine bar.

The menu, under the direction of Executive chef Rob Gentile features simplicity of ingredients. While Rob worked with Mark McEwan at One and North 44, he learned about Italian cooking from his Italian grandmother. As a result the menu combines rustic Italian cuisine with the finesse of fine dining, building recipes around fresh and seasonal produce. You will find Pizza, Pasta, Carne (meat), Pesce (fish), Piatti Freddi (small plates), Fritti (fried dishes), and salumi (house-cured meats) on the menu with prices that are accessible at alll ranges.

A great and evolving wine program under the direction of Giuseppe Marchesini.
